Quick Overview of Destroyit Model 2605 High Security
The MBM Destroyit 2603/2 SMC (Super Micro Cut) high security shredder is on the NSA evaluated products list and exists on our GSA approved contract. This level 6 shredder comes equipped with an internal automatic oiler which is virtually a necessity on high security shredders. Other features include an “easy switch” control element, the Safety Protection System (SPS), and an Energy Saving Mode (ESM).The Destroyit 2603/2 SMC high security shredder has a throat size of 10 ¼” and is NSA rated at 15 reams/hour and 6 sheets/pass. The internal automatic oiling system permits continued use without the hassle of manually oiling the cutting shaft. This ensures the shredder is always working at its optimum performance level. The rocker switch allows for easy operation as it lights up with the machine is on, and is outfitted with a reverse function as well. The SPS includes a shield over the feed opening that, when moved, automatically stops the machine to prevent injury. The ESM activates a sleep mode after one hour of inactivity in order to save energy. The 2603/2 SMC meets or exceeds NSA/CSS specification 02-01 and will satisfy level 6 government shredding needs with ease while making maintenance and operation a breeze through the auto oiler, “easy switch,” and SPS.
