The MBM Destroyit 4014/2 SMC (Super Micro Cut) high security paper shredder includes an internal automatic oiler, a Safety Protection System (SPS), an “easy switch" for user-friendly operation, an Electronic Capacity Control (ECC), and an Energy Saving Mode (ESM). This shredder meets NSA/CSS specification 02-01 for level 6 shredding. The MBM Destroyit 4014/2 SMC is included on the NSA evaluated products list and is approved for level 6 shredding capabilities. It possesses an automatic oiler which alleviates the hassle of manually oiling the cutting shaft. The SPS includes a transparent shield which triggers an on/off mechanism when it is shifted to prevent injury. When this shield is moved out of position, the cutting will immediately stop, and when it is back in its proper place the cutting will resume. The “easy switch" on this top secret and classified documents shredder allows for easy operation through the lit on/off button and reverse option. The ECC provides a monitor to ensure the efficiency of this level 6 shredder and helps prevent paper jams.
