The MBM Destroyit 2605 Super Micro Cut (SMC) high security shredder includes an internal automatic oiler, a Safety Protection System (SPS), an “easy switch" control mechanism, an Energy Saving Mode (ESM), and a 10 and ¼" throat size. These high security shredders have GSA approved contracts and meet or exceed the specifications of the NSA/CSS 02-01 for level 6 shredding. The MBM Destroyit 2605 SMC shredders meet the highest security standards. The internal automatic oiling system provides added convenience through users not having to manually oil the machine themselves. The SPS safety shield over the feed opening automatically stops the operation when it is lifted to prevent injuries. The rocker switch controller indicates the operational status of the 2605 SMC and is lit when the shredder is on, while also possessing a convenient reverse function. These level 6 shredders have an energy-saving sleep mode which is activated one hour after nonuse. There is also a handy auto stop function if the waste bin is full or if the cabinet door is open during operation.
