Description of the HSM Classic 225.2 High Security Paper Shredder
The HSM 225.2 has 12" throat size and a sheet capacity of 7-8 sheets at one time. The unit is located on casters which makes it easy to move. The waste bag is located on a pull-out wire frame which makes it effortless to change. The shred bag is within the cabinet which is hidden by a door, and this allows for quiet, dust-free operation. Another benefit of this level 6/P-7 shredder is the protected transmission which preserves the quality and service life. This shredder has a rocker switch for on/off/reverse functions which also includes indicators of operation status, such as when the waste bag is almost full and should be changed. This D.O.D approved shredder will automatically shut off when the cabinet door is open or when the bag is full. This shredder is NSA/CSS approved according to specification 02-01.
