The MBM Destroyit line of high security paper shredders utilizes SMC technology which surpasses the highest security level shred. Unique to the Destroyit brand is the Safety Protection System (SPS) which is comprised of a clear shield over the feed opening that, when shifted, automatically stops the cutting cylinders to prevent injury. These shredders also feature an “Easy Switch” for operational control and status, an energy-saving sleep mode that is activated one hour after inactivity, and automatic reverse and cut-offs to help guard against paper jams. These shredders also will automatically turn off when the shred bag needs to be changed or when the cabinet door is open.
