Description of the Datastroyer 240 Data Disintegrator
The Datastroyer 240 Data Disintegrator is NSA Evaluated and Listed on the NSA/CSS Evaluated Products List for Paper, Keytape and CDs. This high volume disintegrator has an average factory throughput of 1,300 pounds per hour and is NSA rated at 850 pounds per hour. Simply hand feed paper, CDs/DVDs, keytape, fabric, bulky plastics, light metals, and other materials into the 12" x 10" feed opening. This disintegrator features 7 High Chrome, High Carbon D2 steel knives; the 5 rotor knives spin rapidly while 2 reversible bed knives shred materials into tiny particles. The Datastroyer 240 accommodates many different screen sizes, including the approved 3/32", as well as 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", and larger. Thanks to the drop-down design, changing screens is convenient and easy.
Made in the USA, the Datastroyer 240 is engineered to guarantee longevity and durability. The open, slant cut rotor design improves air flow and assures efficient destruction. This disintegrator comes standard with the X-2 Twin Bag Waste Evacuation System and NEMA 12 electrical controls. NEMA 12 controls, the highest rated enclosures available, provide increased operator safety and protection. Optional features include a feed rate meter that indicates how hard the disintegrator is working and help lessen potential jams or other malfunctions.
