It satisfies NSA/CSS specification 02-01 for destruction of classified documents and other high security shredding needs. With a large throat and an impressive shred capacity, this system is one of the most powerful high security shredders available. The Datastroyer 1628MS high security shredder has a throat width of 16" which allows for disorderly stacks of paper to be processed with ease. It has the ability to take up to 16 sheets at one time. The automatic stop element blocks the shredder from operating when the door is open or the waste bin is full.
