Description of the Destroyit 3015 SMC High Security Shredder

The MBM Destroyit 3015 Super Micro Cut (SMC) high security shredder is NSA evaluated and approved for level 6/P-7 shredding. This shredder has an internal automatic oiler, a Safety Protection System (SPS), an “Easy Switch" control, an Energy Saving Mode (ESM), and an Electronic Capacity Control (ECC) meter. The MBM Destroyit 3015 SMC high security shredder meets or exceeds NSA/CSS specification 02-01 and is approved for level 6/P-7 shredding. The SPS safety mechanism includes a shield which, when triggered, will turn the shredder off immediately to prevent injury. When the shield is in its proper position the shredder will perform as normal. The “Easy Switch" control consists of a lit rocker switch for on/off and reverse functions. The energy saving ESM provides a sleep mode which is activated one hour after inactivity. This NSA approved shredder also comes equipped with an ECC monitor which measures the performance of the shredder to help guard against paper jams. The inclusion of an automatic oiler alleviates the maintenance of this high security shredder by allowing users to not have to manually oil the shaft themselves.
