Description of the Datastroyer DCS 36/6 High Security Combo Shredder
The DCS 36/6 utilizes a unique design allowing it to destroy both paper and CD to high security levels, and is NSA Evaluated and Listed on the NSA/CSS Evaluated Products List for Paper and Optical Media (CD only) Destruction - approved for Top Secret and COMSEC destruction. The 36/6 includes two separate feed openings: 13" for paper and 5" for CDs. Shred is separated into dedicated waste bins for easier cleanup.
The DCS 36/6 features an innovative drive and operating system with 3 modes: Silent, Standard and Performance. Silent Mode reduces the noise of operation for quiet office environments while Performance Mode offers more power and quicker shredding. The high resolution touch screen displays the current operating mode, errors, and other notifications. The DCS 36/6 also includes an internal automatic oiler for maximum user-friendliness. The Energy Management & Control System (EMCS) reduces energy consumption by up to 90%.
