Description of the HSM 125.2 High Security Paper Shredder
The HSM 125.2 high security paper shredder features automatic start/stop functions, a reverse button for overfed paper, an enclosed casing for quiet operation, and a specially designed and protected motor for longer use. This shredder is NSA and D.O.D. approved for level 6/P-7 classified and top secret shredding purposes.
The HSM 125.2 high security paper shredders have an automatic start and stop via an electronic eye that will start as soon as paper is placed in the feed opening making it more convenient to shred. It has an indicator to alert when the waste bin is full as well automatically stop when the container needs to be emptied. There is a reverse button for when this level 6/P-7 shredder is being overfed to decrease the chances of a paper jam. It has a 10" throat width and takes 5 sheets/pass.
The enclosed cabinet allows for quiet, dust-free operation and the motor is thermally protected and specially adjusted for extended periods of use. The HSM 125.2HS nanoshred meets NSA/CSS specification 02-01 and has patented V-groove cutting cylinders along with closed tooth wheel drive to prolong service life by cutting down dirt penetration and wear.
