Description of the HSM Securio P36i OMDD Combo Shredder
The HSM Securio P36i High Security Combo Shredder is NSA Evaluated and Listed on the NSA/CSS Evaluated Products List for Paper and Optical Media (CD, DVD, Blu-ray) Destruction. Unlike most high security shredders, the HSM P36i OMDD features two separate feed openings for paper and optical media. The 13 inch paper throat can take up to 14 sheets at a time, creating .8 mm x 5mm particles that are impossible to put back together. The 5 inch optical media slot destroys discs and credit cards to an NSA standard of 2mm x 2mm.
The HSM Securio P36i features a multifunctional display unit that relays vital operation status updates such as paper jam, bin full, door open, metal detection, button lock, and more. In the event of a paper jam, the JamStop Anti-Jam technology will automatically reverse the unit until the problem is resolved. The P36i will put itself into standby mode after a period of inactivity. The Energy Management Control System (EMCS) will reduce power consumption by up to 90%. Users can reactivate the shredder at any time by feeding more paper or pressing the power button.
The Securio P36i includes a 38.3 gallon waste bin fitted on a wire pull-out frame for quick and easy disposal. Optical media shred is deposited in a separate compartment attached to the door. The integrated oiler makes maintenance easy by automatically lubricating the cutting head, keeping the shredder in optimal condition.
