Description of the MBM Destroyit 2605 SMC High Security Shredder
The MBM Destroyit 2605 high security shredder is NSA Evaluated and meets NSA/CSS Specification 02-01 for High Security Crosscut Paper Shredders. Rated at 15 reams per hour and 6 sheets per pass, this super micro cut model possesses superior shredding capability. The 10.25" feed opening reduces paper into 0.8 x 5.0 mm particles making it impossible to put them back together.
The 2603/2 features a large multifunctional "Easy Switch" button that shows the shredder's operational status using easy-to-read lighted symbols. The Electronic Capacity Control (ECC) indicator that helps prevent paper jams by indicating capacity levels. The included automatic oiler lubricates the cutting head during operation to ensure optimal performance at all times. Heavy-duty casters make the shredder easily moveable.
The Destroyit 2603/2 provides excellent security and safety. The "SPS" Safety Protection System features a transparent safety shield over the feed opening and automatic power cut-off when the shred bag gets full or the cabinet is opened. This guarantees safe operation for all users. For further safety and convenience, the "ESM" Energy Saving mode will automatically turn the shredder off after 30 minutes of inactivity.
